Push Article Marketing Works for You!

Push Article Marketing Works for You! > Information based marketing is one of the oldest and most effective techniques for bringing targeted prospects to your site and converting them into buyers. This is part of the reason that software, and distribution services that make the process of article promotion easier are so popular lately. Though the various tools you can use to make the process of distributing your articles more easily are invaluable in getting your content the most exposure, that's only half of the story. Getting article marketing to work for your site lies primarily in two things: The article you're submitting, and The preparation you do before you a single word of your content is written. Since those two determining factors make at least 50% of the difference in bringing you success, let's take a look at what the most common mistakes are in that area, and how to overcome them. Confusing the Reason to Promote with Articles with the Reason to Write Articles There are three key benefits to promoting an article branding, lead generation, and as a corollary, online promotion, particularly as part of your optimization efforts. Yet there is only one reason to write an article, and that is to inform your audience. If your article is not geared towards this as its primary purpose, you will fail to see the three benefits of promotion - because no one will want to read your article to know more about can visit www.internet-copycatting.com. How many links you're able to generate by submitting your article to hundreds of sites will matter little if you're unable to get them picked up by publications, or read by people who search for information. Sure, if you know what you're doing all those links pointing back to your site will count for something in your search engine results - but remember that generating links to your site is only one part of optimizing your site for Google, Yahoo or MSN. To overcome this issue, you'll need to figure out how to get people to read what is in your article, and then click through to your site from your resource box. The best start to a solution is to produce better content. In the end it's a matter of choice. You can get a little exposure from increased link backs, on a very basic level, or enjoy massive exposure from a little extra work. Starting The Article Promotion without a Plan Not every article can fulfill all three purposes of promotion. Some will work better for branding; others can generate leads and increase sales. An article that gets published every where and helps to make you known is not meant to have the same level of exposure as hyper-targeted content geared towards a narrow group of people. Learning the difference will help you know what kinds of articles to write. Publishing Content That Doesn't Help Your Reader Maybe you're thinking: "All I want is links back to my site - any visitors the article generates is gravy." Well guess what? then you have to visit www.instant-marketing-articles.com to check the details. Not all article banks and directories are going to accept your content automatically. You can double the number of sites you can submit to by writing articles that the directories want to share with readers. And all it takes is one publisher with a hundred thousand readers to increase your potential audience tenfold. So if you want article marketing to work for you, write articles that publishers want in their publications. This also means obeying the standard guidelines, running a spell check, researching a good topic to write about, or even hiring a writer to produce articles on your behalf. Failing to Maximize the Promotional Opportunities of Article Marketing You already know that articles marketing can help you generate additional links back to your site. map5 mzp3 map 6 kf animas map 2 kap4 map2 map 6 of ifs ma 2 kap2 jap2 mpa1

Avoiding the Pitfalls - Common Podcasting Mistakes

> Number One ??“ Reading from a script. While I strongly recommend writing out an outline of what you want to cover in your podcast it isn??™t necessary to read verbatim from a script. When most people try reading directly from a script they wind up sounding like Ben Stein. ???Bueller???? It isn??™t entertaining and you??™ll lose your audience before you even have a chance to get started. So unless you have a background in acting or extemporaneous reading it??™s probably a good idea to forgo the script. An easy solution is to make a list of talking points, note cards, or even a more detailed outline of what you intend to say in your podcast. So long as the format leaves room for improvisation it will come across as more friendly and conversational. It may take a few tries to get used to ???winging it,??? but you??™ll sound much better. It??™s still advisable to rehearse and edit your podcast whenever possible you not to the point where it sounds too scripted or contrived. Number Two ??“ Sound. While not everyone can afford really slick production values it is important to appear at least somewhat professional. This means investing in a good quality microphone, some headphones, and an editing program of some sort. This doesn??™t necessarily involve a large investment though. The mic and headphones can be obtained for a reasonable amount, and you can download a free program like Audacity which will allow you to edit your show. Audacity will allow you lay down tracks of music, edit out coughs, ???ums???, or even portions of the podcast that you aren??™t happy with. It??™s also worthwhile to do a sound check before spending 15 to 30 minutes recording a podcast that is unintelligible. Check that the mic volume is properly adjusted and that there isn??™t any background interference. Number Three ??“ Infrequent episodes. No one wants to subscribe to a show if it only airs sporadically. Why? Mainly because it??™s hard to get into and maintain interest in a show if it isn??™t on enough to keep you engaged in the content. At the very least try to have shows broadcast ever other week if not weekly. It??™s true that some shows are only released monthly but generally the more frequent the show airs the higher its ratings are. Number Four ??“ No call to action. It??™s rare that a listener will come to find your podcast in the context of your site. Most people will probably stumble across your podcast via podcast directory that??™s why it??™s important to make sure you include a call to action at the end of your podcast. The fact is that if you don??™t provide a clear way for people to interact with you then they won??™t. Number Five ??“ No album art. This really only applies when submitting your podcasts to the various podcast directories and podcatchers. iTunes, for example, allows album art and more often than not people don't even take a second look at the podcasts without it. It doesn??™t have to be anything fancy, and you can even use your logo as the album art so long as it communicates something about the podcast. Potential customers are looking for you through search engines, directories and forums. We help them find your website. How? Six Tips For Building A Content-Rich Website

> If you want to achieve lasting success with your website, then the best route to take is to build a content-rich site. A site that has varied and informative articles and information will be big hit with viewers and search engines alike. In case you have writer's block or are not sure how to go about creating more content for your website. Here are some tips to help you get moving. 1. When building content try to solve the problems of your viewers without making them buy something Of course you have set up your website in order to either make money or "get" something out of it, but it is not productive to build scores of pages with hard-sell messages. People are coming to the net to find solutions to their problems. Provide articles, information and answers to these problems and you will win the respect, and trust of your readers. This is known as "pre-selling" and it is just as important as selling itself. So, before you start tapping on your keyboard, keep the interests of your readers in mind and then begin. 2. Write about what you know and share your knowledge with your readers If you have set up a website it means that you know something about your particular field, or have some special interest in it. For example, suppose you are selling digital cameras, why not write some articles reviewing the available cameras that are on the market. Or why not write an article explaining what people should look for when they buy a camera. There are a lot of people out there who don't have the foggiest idea about digital cameras and they would sure be happy to get some unbiased information before buying something. 3. Do research and turn dull reports into interesting articles You can build on what you know by doing a bit of research on the web. Make a keyword search for "digital cameras" or whatever your field is, and you will find some web pages giving information. Often the information is just listed in a point-wise fashion in bulleted lists. Take this information, and blend it with your own experience to create new articles. You can quote or cite the other articles (with hyperlinks) that you find on the web if they are particularly useful. In fact this is the original idea behind Google's system of PageRank: web pages that are particularly good will earn links or "votes" from other sites. 4. Let your readers help you to create content If you are not sure what to write about then why not ask your web visitors to submit their questions. These questions will stimulate you to provide answers in the form of articles. A good example of this approach is the site www.askdavetaylor.com . Dave Taylor is a technical "geek". If you have any question about computers, software, html, Mac, linux, unix and related technical matters you can just go to his site and ask a question. Dave's answers comprise hundreds, perhaps thousands, of pages of solid information. In fact, he has 29,300 pages indexed in Google! You don't have to write hundreds or thousands of pages, but if you follow Dave's example you can certainly build up your site, and easily overcome your "writer's block." 5. Reprint the articles of experts in your field There is no sense in recreating the wheel. If someone has already written something good about your particular field, you can reprint it. You will have to provide a link back to the author, but if the article really fits in with the theme of your site, then it is worth it. You can find free reprint articles at sites such as www.ezinearticles.com and www.goarticles.com 6. Let your readers create content directly Blogs with their "comments" sections are now one of the most popular ways of allowing web visitors to add their thoughts and ideas. You can also set up a bulletin board or forum using the phpBB software (which is pre-installed with many hosting plans). If you have enough traffic and an audience that is passionately interested in the themes of your website, then your own readers will create pages and pages of interesting content. You will of course have to moderate the forums or blogs, but the reward to you in terms of useful content will be worth it. So, if your si is a bit thin on content, think about these six tips and take steps towards providing information that will make your site a place where people can come and find solutions to their problems or answers to their questions. Based on the list you have just created, do a search for every keyword combination (let's say "red widget", "discount widget" and so on) and write down the new keyword combinations.
